I do hair as well but I definitely do LOTS of nails! I absolutely love my job, sometimes so much I forget it's a job!

When I'm not working (which isn't very often) | partake in Pilates, I love traveling and trying new things especially new foods! I recently learned how to surf on my most recent trip to Mexico! I spend the majority of my free time hanging out with my fiancé and 14yr old cat Precious!

With nearly 40 years of experience behind the chair, I've dedicated my career to creating beautiful, natural, low-maintenance hairstyles that make women feel confident. I specialize in blondes, natural color, and lived-in looks. But hair is only part of why I love what I do.

 

Over the years, my clients have become like family. I treasure the friendships we've built, the conversations we share, and the chance to be a part of their lives. I'm incredibly thankful for their trust, loyalty, and the joy they bring into my salon.

When I'm not doing hair, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, our three grown children and their spouses, and our beautiful grandkids. I love morning walks with our dogs and spending summer days boating with family and friends.

With over 11 years of experience behind the chair, I bring a passion for beautiful, lived-in hair and a deep commitment to creating a comfortable experience for every client. I spent 7 years honing my craft in Portland, where I completed extensive training in advanced color and cutting techniques—experience that continues to shape my craft today.

 

I specialize in blonding and lived-in color, and offer a wide variety of personalized cuts, color services, and Brazilian Blowouts. I’m also a bridal hairstylist, and absolutely love being a part of someone’s big day—creating timeless, effortless styles that enhance each bride’s natural beauty.

 

In the salon, I’ve created a space that’s calm, safe, and welcoming to all—a place where creativity flows, and where clients can feel completely at ease. Hello, my name is Makayla!

I specialize in lived-in & dimensional hair color, along with eyelash extensions. I am currently training to become a lash educator.

 

I graduated from Blanco Blanco Cosmetology school in 2019. In 2021 | became salon owner of Wink Studio and led the salon for three and a half years. After having my son, I decided to make a business pivot into my suite.

Over the years I have continued my education by taking online courses, traveling to 1:1 classes and business coaching events.

I thrive on pampering and serving my clients. I enjoy creating an inviting experience my clients can look forward to.

When I am not in the salon I am spending time with my husband, son, and three puppies. I also enjoy going to the gym, taking a hot yoga class, hanging out at a coffee shop or watching an Adam Sandler movie.
